Mary Haskins was a teacher and coach for over 20 years. During that time she witnessed the many complex issues facing todays children, adolescents, and families. She pursued an advanced degree at the University of Nebraska at Omaha School of Social Work with the intent of becoming a clinical social worker. Mary has been a mental health therapist practicing at Park Professional Group since graduating in December 2007. In March of 2008 she began her internship to become an Alcohol and Drug Counselor at Pathfinder Support Services receiving her license in July 2008. She has maintained her interest in children, as her practice emphasis is children, adolescents, and families. Her expertise also includes the treatment of anxiety and depression and couples' counseling. The unique problems of individuals with co-occurring mental health and alcohol/drug issues are also a focus of her practice. Mary is a member of the National Eating Disorders Association, The National Association of Social Workers, The Association of Private Practice Therapists, and is a Registered Provider for The Justice Treatment System of Nebraska.
